1 Fix the Boom
Digadoc utilises an on-board hitch locking device to secure the boom to the trailer, preventing the chance of a boom swing when transporting.
2 Secure Your Tools
Typical on-site attachments; buckets and breakers, have a dedicated compartment close to the hitch with an integral security net of tough nylon cargo net to prevent the movement of tools.
3 Optimum Weight Distribution
The forced positioning of the digger on the trailer provides for optimum weight distribution. This avoids excessive tyre and axle wear, and more importantly the avoidance of losing wheels in transit. It also reduces tail wag and maximises braking efficiency.
4 Open Grid Design
The trailer bed is larger than average with an extra 300mm to accommodate attachments. An open grid design so that dirt and debris can be washed away with ease.
5 Easy Loading
A semi enclosed casing “track canopy” means diggers are tracked into the most secure position on the trailer without the need of straps thereby minimising loading times.
6 Tail Gate Lock
Rear tail gate with a threaded bar and a welded-on locking handle ensures a secure tailgate position as compared to traditional simple cotter pins. No portable ramps to secure.
Digadoc has been designed to make safe loading as simple as possible – with no room for operator error. A safe and convenient towing solution for compact plant. Digger movement is restricted in three unique ways.
- 7The tailgate will only close when the machine is in the correct position causing the dozer blade to fit perfectly against the tailgate (for machines with a shorter dozer blade there is a blade locking system in place).
- The tracks are concealed under two casing which limit movement in all directions.
